Every week at Dairyland Express, we’ll be checking out who or what is trending up or down heading into the next week’s game, starting with the Green Bay Packers season opener against the New Orleans Saints.

With the NFL moving to 17 regular season games this year, each team only had three preseason contests to prepare. It was interesting to see how each head coach readied their guys, with Matt LaFleur taking one of the more passive approaches across the league. It appears he values health and chose to rest at least 30 guys in each of their games.

We’ll see how that translates against the Saints in Week 1 and whether there’s any rust to the veteran’s game.

The Packers kickoff against New Orleans at 3:25 central time on Sunday as the clear favorites in this contest. It’s also important to note the game was moved to Jacksonville due to the hurricane’s effects on New Orleans. Before we get to Sunday, let’s take a pulse at the initial stock report for Green Bay.
