Donald Trump Jr. sells T-shirts mocking Alec Baldwin’s fatal shooting

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Donald Trump Jr. is selling T-shirts that mock the tragic fatal shooting by Alec Baldwin of Halyna Hutchins on the movie set of “Rust” in New Mexico when he was given a real gun with a live bullet instead of blanks. The accident also injured director Joel Souza.

The former president’s son’ website advertised the shirt with the description, “Guns don’t kill people, Alec Baldwin kills people.” The shirts are available on Mr. Trump’s website for $27.99.

Trump also posted on Instagram: “For those who are out there doing the fake sanctimony about leaving Alec Baldwin alone let’s all remember that Alec Baldwin would be the first person pissing on everyone’s grave if the shoes were on the other foot. Screw him!”

A feud between the elder Trump and Baldwin grew when the actor parodied former President Trump for years on “Saturday Night Live,” throughout the Republican’s presidency.

Trump Jr. has mocked the shooting in several Instagram posts ridiculing both Baldwin and gun control advocates.

On Sunday, a source close to the Baldwins told People that Baldwin “was hysterical and absolutely inconsolable for hours. Everyone knows this was an accident, but he’s absolutely devastated” over the on-set tragedy.
