Stock Market Today: Dow Set to Open at Record with Earnings Wave

The stock market was rising Monday, as investors looked ahead to a wave of corporate earnings this week. 

Futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average have risen 30 points, or 0.1% Monday after the index climbed 73 points to a record Friday. Futures for the S&P 500—which remained near an all-time high set last week—gained 0.1%, while Nasdaq Composite futures rose 0.2%.
