Maggie Haberman opens Drew University NJ lecture series

New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman, who won a Pulitzer Prize for coverage of the Donald Trump presidency, will kick off the 2021-22 Drew University Forum lecture series on Nov. 17.

Haberman, also a CNN political analyst, will appear in a virtual format at 7:30 p.m. Registration is required.

Series speakers typically addressed guests at campus venues, which in past years has featured Joe Biden, who was vice president at the time, Gen. John Kelly and Condoleezza Rice.

“With a uniquely informed perspective having closely covered and built a complex relationship with President Donald Trump, Haberman will discuss the nation’s most explosive era of modern journalism,” the university stated.

Following her talk, Haberman will take questions from the virtual audience in a Q&A session moderated by Lisa Lynch, associate professor and director of Drew’s media and communications program.
