Stocks Waver as Investors Digest Fed News

U.S. stocks were mixed Thursday, with investors still digesting the Federal Reserve’s latest update on stimulus spending and interest rates. 

The S&P 500 rose 0.3% and the tech-focused Nasdaq Composite gained 0.8%, though both were off morning highs. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.3%. On Wednesday, all three had hit record highs for the fourth day in a row.
