Stock Market Today: Nasdaq Climbed as Bond Yields Stalled

Stocks jumped on Friday, as bond yields rose just a touch.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 179 points, or 0.5%, after the index fell 158 points Thursday to close at 35,921. The S&P 500 advanced 0.7%, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 1%.
