Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the gained 0.72%.
The best performers of the session on the were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:), which rose 5.15% or 11.0 points to trade at 224.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Orsted A/S (CSE:) added 4.52% or 37.60 points to end at 868.80 and Demant A/S (CSE:) was up 2.54% or 8.0 points to 323.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Rockwool International B (CSE:), which fell 4.37% or 126 points to trade at 2760 at the close. Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:) declined 1.25% or 6.4 points to end at 506.2 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:) was down 0.90% or 13.0 points to 1438.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 107 to 44 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.46% or 0.36 to $78.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.28% or 0.23 to hit $82.02 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.26% or 4.60 to trade at $1788.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.09% to 6.6339, while EUR/DKK rose 0.05% to 7.4363.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 96.778.
