What Tesla’s Reported Interest in Energy in Texas Means: Tesla Daily

Tesla is reportedly looking into Texas energy.

Texas Monthly first reported Tesla’s interest in the Lone Star State’s energy.

“Details of the move are scant, and Tesla isn’t talking, but if the filing is approved this November, people involved with the state’s power market say that the new Tesla Energy Ventures could stand out in a crowded, deregulated retail market where 120 other companies are already hawking kilowatts,” Texas Monthly’s Russell Gold wrote

So, what does that mean for Tesla?

Tesla Daily host Rob Maurer joined TheStreet to talk about all things Tesla.

Maurer admitted that he’s not an energy expert, but that this move would enter Tesla into a pretty market. Though, what that means exactly is–as Maurer put it–to be decided (TBD).
