Pennsylvania AG sues to block GOP subpoenas in election probe

Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro (D) filed a lawsuit on Thursday to block a Republican-backed subpoena to state election officials in a GOP-led probe of the 2020 presidential election, The Associated Press reported.

In a 76-page lawsuit, Shapiro’s office asks the court to block the subpoena because it serves no legislative purpose and adds to the effort by former President TrumpDonald TrumpUkraine’s president compares UN to ‘a retired superhero’ Collins to endorse LePage in Maine governor comeback bid Heller won’t say if Biden won election MORE to overturn the results of the election.
