January 6 Commission summons 11 organizers of the event before the


  • According to a press release, 11 people were summoned by a selection committee on January 6.
  • This list includes the people responsible for events and rallies that precede the Parliamentary riots.
  • One of the events was attended by former President Donald Trump on the day of the attack.

Washington — A bipartisan elective committee on January 6 released a list of 11 subpoenas sent to organizers of rallies and events prior to the riots in the Capitol on Wednesday.

The subpoena follows last week’s announcement that the Commission had summoned four of former President Donald Trump’s inner circles on the events leading up to the attack and the issues surrounding the change of government to the Biden administration.

The 11 individuals are:

  • Amy Kremer, Founder and Chairman of America First (“WFAF”)
  • Kylie Clemmer, Founder and Secretary-General of WFAF
  • Cynthia Chafian, founder of the 80% Union, submitted the first permit application on behalf of WFAF for the January 6 rally
  • Caroline Len listed as “VIP Advisor” in Permit Documents for January 6th Rally
  • Maggie Mulvaney listed as a “VIP lead” in the January 6th rally permit document
  • Event Strategies, Inc. Justin Caporale was listed as a “project manager” in the January 6th rally permit document.
  • Event Strategies, Inc. Tim Unes was listed as a “stage manager” in the January 6th rally permit document.
  • Megan Powers of MPowers Consulting LLC was listed as “Scheduling and Guidance Operations Manager” in the January 6 meeting permit document.
  • Hannah Salem of Salem Strategies LLC was listed as “Logistics and Communications Operations Manager” in the permit documents for the January 6 meeting.
  • Lyndon Brentnall of RMS Protective Services was listed as an “onsite supervisor” in the January 6 meeting permit document.
  • Former Trump campaign official Katrina Pearson was reportedly involved in organizing the rally on January 5 and 6 and was in direct contact with the former president about the rally.

The events under investigation include the January 6th “Save America Rally” at Ellipse (a park near the White House) where Trump attended just before the riots, and the Freedom Plaza on November 14th and December 12th, 2020. Rally in, two “March Trump” national bus tours.

The WFAF organized a January 6 rally, and the bus tour boosted interest and attendance at the Washington rally, according to a special committee announcement.

Release Notes: “The summons seek a variety of records, including materials dealing with planning, funding, participation in events and bus tours, social media activities of affiliates, and communication and involvement with Trump Cabinet officials and lawmakers. “”

The subpoena outlines each person’s alleged role and their interaction with Trump and then Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.

Each summoned person will be ordered to testify by October 13th and submit records later in the month.
