Mode Global Shares Rise on Bitcoin Cashback Program Expansion

Shares in Mode Global Holdings PLC rose on Thursday after the company said that it will be expanding its bitcoin cashback offering to more than 40 merchants in the second quarter of next year.

The fintech company said the offering will include Ocado, Homebase and Boots as merchants.

“The expansion of Mode’s bitcoin cashback offering is the next step in the company’s strategy to develop a next-generation loyalty scheme that offers relevant rewards with real value to consumers. The program will also enable retailers to boost loyalty amongst higher value demographics,” Mode Global said.

Shares at 0928 GMT were up 4.10 pence, or 11%, at 42.00 pence.
