Dragged down by losses for shares of American Express and Boeing, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is slumping Friday morning. Shares of American Express

have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline, as the Dow
DJIA,

was most recently trading 962 points (2.7%) lower. American Express’s shares have declined $14.47 (8.4%) while those of Boeing are down $15.98, or 7.6%, combining for an approximately 201-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Travelers
