4 – FTSE 100 leaves traders a little sea-sick
The FTSE 100 index sank 31 points on Tuesday to finish at 7,079 points, a loss of 0.44% on the day.
5 – Any BT bidder has big hurdles to jump
Swiss bankers UBS point out that the UK’s National Security and Investment Act gives the government a veto and any buyer would also have to contend with the BT Pension Scheme Trustees – it all adds up to a ‘sell’ recommendation.
